Many
households have had double glazing already fitted but with plain glass
and could benefit, especially at the front, with
Georgian bars or
Leaded
glass fitted into the existing frames. The existing glass units are
carefully removed, and replaced with brand new units that have had your
choice of either leaded or Georgian bars added. Because we use the existing
frames (subject obviously to being in good condition) the cost is kept to a minimum, a fraction of the price of a fully
replaced double glazing system, and without the hassle of redecorating
afterwards!
These units are made to measure at the
factory, have the usual 10 year guarantees when fitted into uPVC or
aluminium frames (5 year fitted into wood frames), and a replacement unit
is normally fitted within an hour. The entire front of an average
size house can be transformed in less than a day if required!
