Bi-fold Doors

Our Bifold Doors can be used in domestic applications as either an alternative to sliding doors, or to open up an existing wall or side of a conservatory, either way the system will make the most of a beautiful view or bring a garden into the home. They will give your home individuality and character. Bifold doors bring the outside in and open up space to create an area for living, working and entertaining

Our bifold doors are available in a choice of standard or non-standard colours, including metallic, wood effect, and dual colours. There is also a choice of weathered or low thresholds, as all Visofold doors have the option of either low thresholds for unimpeded, easy access, or rebated thresholds that offer improved weather resistance.

Here at Smashing Windows, our aluminium bifold doors are created using the Smart Visofold 1000 profile, which feature a polyamide thermal break that enhances the thermal performance of the profile and improves the overall U-Value.

Profiles feature EPDM high quality gaskets and weather brushes to aid weather resistance. The Visofold profile complies with the requirements of the Building Regulations, with security being assured by multi-point lock mechanisms on main opening sashes, along with shoot-bolt locking on floating mullions.
